This little horn has no serial number that I can find,even on the valve spring cages. The bell is so close to being a full 5' as can be measured with a machinists scale. The bell logo states that Wurlitzer was located in Cincinnati and Chicago. Another cornet picture that is quite similar is the Lyon and Healy.
In early 1936, a few months after his 51st birthday and more than 30 years work at the H.N. White Company, Foster A. Reynolds (1884-1960) founded the F.A. Reynolds Company. The new company was located at 2845 Prospect Avenue in Cleveland, near the campus of former Fenn College, now Cleveland State University.
